Thousands of components have to come together to assemble a functioning car. But once the car runs for the first time, it’s time to grab another gear and keep pushing. Physical testing is a crucial part of the development cycle, testing the production quality, analysis, and assumptions made along the way.

This is especially true in the FSAE competition, as the points distribution is such that even a single component failure makes the team ineligible for half off the points of the competition. Therefore, success and reliability are synonymous.
